Acting
The entertainment industry is open to all types in acting --- old, young, large, small, tall, short, African American, Asian, Hispanic, Caucasian. Our acting program is open to all types.
Participants learn how to act in television commercials, soaps and sitcoms and the differences in acting techniques for each. Training includes improvisation, cold reading, monologues, scene study, voice and diction, introduction to film and advanced acting for TV & Film.
On the business side, participants learn the important difference between a manager and an agent, and auditioning techniques for that first crucial audition. And, at John Robert Powers, you will audition for professional managers and agents and casting directors.
